GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION!!

Carson Valley is well-known for it's trails.  Whether you are on foot, hoof, or wheel you can enjoy easy public access to some of the finest trails around.  The Carson Valley Trails Association  has done it once again.  This time in the Pine Nut Mountains. The Pinyon Trail and Trail head is now open with a formal opening Saturday, March 14th. The trail is just over 5 miles long and is located about 7 miles east of Gardnerville. This trail is open to hikers, equestrians, mountain bikers and dogs. This trail project was funded by the CVTA in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management and Douglas County.  Come on out and enjoy another beautiful trail we have in Carson Valley.  Hope to see you there!  For more information, visit:  http://www.carsonvalleytrails.org/index.html
